Profile Review - $75

I will review two of your existing dating profiles, and make recommendations regarding simple tweaks you can make to improve them. This may include suggesting adding or removing photos, expanding certain sections, or rephrasing things in a more appealing way. This is not a rewrite! You’ll receive guidance along the lines of “Say more here about why you loved your visit to Iceland” or “Consider removing this, the 14th reference to your love of board games, and replace it with the last great book/podcast/TV show/movie/meal you consumed.”

You can have me review additional profiles (on other apps) for a cost of $20 each.

If I review your profiles and don’t have at least three suggestions for improvements, I will not charge for this service.

Profile Building/Rebuilding - $300

Don’t know where to start? Sick of everything you’ve said in your current profile? Daunted at the very prospect of a dating app? I’ve got you!

The first step in this service is a 60- to 90-minute conversation between us, in which I will get to know you as a dating prospect. We will talk about what is most important to you in life, what you’re looking for in a date, and everything in between. Then I will write up a profile for you, which you can adjust as needed until it feels like “you.”

As part of this service, I will help you craft up to three first messages to matches or prospective matches.

Practice Dates - $100/hour

Are you having a lot of first dates that don’t result in second dates? Do first dates make your palms turn clammy, your mouth go dry, and your charm go missing? Go on a practice date with me! I will give you pointers along the way and after the fact, and I’ll also talk you through some basic strategies to ease those jitters.

Coaching

If your profiles are all in good shape and you just need a caring ear to talk to (or a brick wall to metaphorically throw your phone against), I’m here! We can chat over email, text, phone, or video during a scheduled time. $100/hour, billed in 15-minute increments

A la Carte Services

Your profiles are great but your intro message game isn’t so hot? I’ll give you a crash course in writing attention-catching first messages, and I’ll even help you write the first few based on actual matches or prospective matches: $25 per intro message

Do your photos lack that old luster? I can help you choose others that represent you in an accurate but flattering light. (I can’t coach you on how to take better photos of yourself. I’m terrible at that too!): Price varies

Do you have no trouble getting matches but your dating app conversations fall flat? This is where a lot of people struggle most. I will explain the most common pitfalls I see in dating app conversations, and help you avoid them, either by reviewing past conversations that didn’t go anywhere or coaching you in real time with current conversations: $75 (includes review of two past or current conversations of up to 30 messages in length, with detailed suggestions for how to improve)
